Del -Tech Childcare Training Facility
The 10,300 square foot Child Care Training Facility was designed with children in mind. Primary colors and basic geometric shapes are utilized throughout the facility and are incorporated in the facade to invite the children into a playland type setting.
The Center features playrooms for toddlers, infant rooms, teaching classrooms, a media center, and a central multi-purpose area. The floors throughout the facility are radiant heated for the comfort of little ones who spend most of their time on the floor.
While the facility is a working child care center, its dual purpose is to give hands-on training the DT&CC students enrolled in the Early Childhood Development Technology. The students work daily with the children, at play in the Toddler/Pre-School and Infant Rooms, and for learning purposes in the classrooms. Each room features a separate observation room, which enables the students to observe the children at play, and for the instructors to observe the students.
